The Heartland Conference relies on the support of churches and individuals to keep our work going so that we can, in turn, support our member churches, provide grant opportunities like the Make a Difference Grants (ADD LINK), and engage in supporting the larger work of our denomination. Churches typically provide their financial support through Our Church’s Wider Mission donations, which fund the Conference, as well as the National Setting.

However, we also collect and give thanks for individual contributions. If you’d like to make a contribution, it’s easy! Just click the button below to support the Heartland Conference General Fund.

In 2020, like everyone else, our Outdoor Ministries Templed Hills Camp & Conference Center was shut down to campers. However, that didn’t stop us from having camp. The Conference used its funds to offer free virtual camp in the summer of 2020. If you’d like to contribute a donation to offset the cost of the upkeep and maintenance of camp and camp staff, just click the button below to make a secure donation through PayPal, and thanks for your kind generosity!

Templed Hills Camp and Conference Center came to life in the fall of 1951 when, using money raised from the Skipper Fund (read that story here ADD PDF OF IT ALL BEGAN WITH A DOG) was used to purchase what had once been a turkey farm outside Belleville, OH. Today it’s a place where lots of stories about new beginnings, just like the story of the Skipper Fund, are shared around campfires, in prayer, and when groups gather for retreats or conferences. A few years ago we began a new story, and a new fund, through our The Hills Are Alive! Capital Campaign. This new creation maintains the history of Templed Hills, while bring it up to contemporary standards for sustainability and usage.
